Do try this mash daal with tarka recipe a try and share your feedback with us.#DaalMash #DaalRecipe #SooperChefIngredients: Black lentil skinless 2 cups Desi ghee 1 cup Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp Red chilies whole 4-5 Cumin powder 1/2 tbsp Salt to taste Red chili flakes 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp Black pepper 1 tsp Tomato puree 1 cup Garam masala 1/2 tsp Fenugreek leaves dried 1/2 tbsp Lemon juice 1 tbsp Coriander leaves as required Ingredients for tarka preparation: Butter 1/4 cup Red chilies (sliced) 2-3 Green chilies (sliced) 2-3 Ginger (julienne) 1 tbsp Directions: Wash lentil and soak it for 30 minutes in warm water. Simmer water in a pan and boil lentil until 80% cooked. Strain and set aside. In a pan heat oil add ginger garlic paste, red whole chilies and sauté it for a minute. Add tomato puree and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes on medium low flame. Then add salt, red chili flakes, coriander, turmeric, black pepper, garam masala and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Add boiled lentil and cook for 5 minutes. Lastly mix fenugreek leaves, coriander leaves, lemon juice and turn off the flame. In another pan melt butter, green chilies, ginger and fry for 1 to 2 minutes. Pour the prepared tarka on daal. Your tasty dhaba style daal mash is ready to serve.
