Crispy Guo Ba (Fried Rice Crackers) | 锅巴 | The Chinese Cuisine

INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup cooked rice (we used jasmine rice)
- 1 tbsp. corn starch + more
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- cumin powder
- cayenne pepper powder
- olive oil
- water

DIRECTIONS:
1. mix together rice, corn starch, salt, and seasonings
2. slowly add in 1 tbsp. of water until it forms a dough
3. roll out and flatten until it's about a millimeter thick
4. cut into equal size pieces
5. add olive oil into pan (about half a centimeter deep) on high heat
6. fry pieces until golden brown
7. take out, then fry again
8. drain on paper towel
9. season
10. serve and enjoy!
