Chocolate Walnut Fudge Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

This fabulous fudge is a bit of a fusion with khoya, the gooey chocolate and nutty walnuts. The end result, lots of hearty smiles and fingers to lick

CHOCOLATE WALNUT FUDGE

Ingredients

cup chopped dark chocolate
cup chopped walnuts + for sprinkling
4 tbsps butter
1 cup condensed milk
cup grated mawa
tsp vanilla essence

Method

1. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add chocolate and continuously stir till it melts.
2. Add condensed milk and mix well. Cook on medium heat for 4-5 minutes while stirring continuously.
3. Add in the walnuts and mix well.
4. Add mawa and vanilla essence and continuously mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Transfer into a greased burfi tray and spread it evenly.
5. Sprinkle chopped walnuts and allow to cool to room temperature. Once cooled, place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
6. Cut the fudge into squares and arrange on a serving plate. Serve.
