Chocolate Dipped Wafer Cookies! | The Chinese Cuisine

These chocolate wafer cookies and crunchy, crispy, and sweet! They are a great quick dessert to make.

INGREDIENTS (~10-15 servings):
- 6 wafer sheets
- 10 oz. bittersweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- coconut oil
- edible gold dust + lemon extract (optional)

DIRECTIONS:
1. mix 4 tablespoons (1/4 cup) of condensed milk and chocolate chips
2. melt over boiling water
3. add in 1/4 cup of heavy cream at a time
4. add in the rest of the condensed milk (1/4 cup) and mix until chocolate flows smoothly
5. spread an even layer between 6 wafers (keep leftover chocolate)
6. put in refrigerator to harden chocolate. put in fridge when needed
7. cut wafers and chocolate into rectangular pieces
8. melt leftover chocolate in microwave if needed
9. add melted coconut oil to make chocolate flow more smoothly and harden in the fridge
10. dip wafer cookies into melted chocolate
11. for the gold 'paint,' mix lemon extract and a bit of edible gold dust.
12. let wafer cookies sit for awhile until the chocolate hardens
13. serve and enjoy!!
