Crispy deep fried pakore made using cooked rice.CHAWAL KE PAKORE Ingredients1½ cups cooked rice (chawal)Oil for deep-frying2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves 1 inch ginger, grated ½ teaspoon cumin powder½ teaspoon coriander powder½ cup crushed roasted peanuts½ teaspoon red chilli powder1 teaspoon chaat masala Salt to taste2 tablespoons gram flour (besan)Fresh coriander sprig for garnishing Method1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.2. Mix together rice, coriander leaves, ginger, cumin powder, coriander powder, peanuts, chilli powder, chaat masala and salt and mix.3. Add gram flour and mix. Add little water and mix well. 4. Divide the mixture into small equal portions and drop them in the hot oil. Deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.5.
