Chana Jor Garam Chaat | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A mouthwatering Indian traditional snack made out of black gram. This recipe is bang on hit for anyone. Flattened black grams and chopped raw vegetables. Go ahead give it a try.

CHANAJOR GARAM CHAAT

Ingredients

2 cups chanajor garam
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 medium tomato, finely chopped
1 cup whole brown Bengal gram (kala chana), boiled
1 green chilli, finely chopped
Black salt to taste
½ teaspoon red chilli powder
½ teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon roasted cumin (jeera) powder
1 teaspoon chaat masala
½ teaspoon dried mango powder (amchur)
1 small raw mango, finely chopped
Juice of ½ lemon
Salt to taste
Garlic sev for garnishing
Chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

Method

1. Mix together chanajor garam, onion, tomato, Bengal gram, green chilli, black salt, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, mango powder, lemon juice and salt in a bowl.
2. Garnish with sev and coriander leaves and serve immediately.
