Cabbage Thoran || കാബേജ് തോരൻ കേരള സ്റ്റൈൽ ||

Ingredients

Cabbage-1/2 of a small cabbage(Thinly sliced)
Coconut oil-2tsp
Raw rice-1tsp
Urad dal-1tsp
Cumin seeds-1/4tsp
Dry chilly-3
Curry leaves-Few
Ginger-a small piece chopped
Garlic-3-4(chopped)
Green chilly- 4 (slited)
Shallots- 20-15(sliced)
Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
Coconut -1cup(grated)
Salt- to taste

Method
--------------
•Heat oil in a pan and add raw rice and urad dal, it gives the dish a nice taste
•Add cumin seeds followed by dry chilly, curry leaves, ginger, garlic and green chilly and
saute for few minutes •Add sliced shallots and saute till soft
•Add turmeric powder
•Add the cabbage and give a good mix and cover with a lid for 2min in low to medium flame
•Remove the lid and add salt according to your taste
•Mix it well
•Add coconut and saute for few more minutes, so that the coconut gets cooked
