Cabbage Thoran || കാബേജ് തോരൻ കേരള സ്റ്റൈൽ ||Ingredients -------------------Cabbage-1/2 of a small cabbage(Thinly sliced)Coconut oil-2tspRaw rice-1tspUrad dal-1tspCumin seeds-1/4tspDry chilly-3Curry leaves-FewGinger-a small piece choppedGarlic-3-4(chopped)Green chilly- 4 (slited)Shallots- 20-15(sliced)Turmeric powder-1/4tspCoconut -1cup(grated)Salt- to tasteMethod--------------•Heat oil in a pan and add raw rice and urad dal, it gives the dish a nice taste•Add cumin seeds followed by dry chilly, curry leaves, ginger, garlic and green chilly andsaute for few minutes •Add sliced shallots and saute till soft•Add turmeric powder•Add the cabbage and give a good mix and cover with a lid for 2min in low to medium flame •Remove the lid and add salt according to your taste•Mix it well•Add coconut and saute for few more minutes, so that the coconut gets cooked•Turn off the flame and serve with rice #Kerala #Cooking #onasadhya #cabbagethoran
