Treat yourself with this zara-hatke kebabs with shredded green and purple cabbage. An amazing texture, flavour and requires everyday ingredients. A must-try!

CABBAGE KEBABS

Ingredients

1 cup shredded cabbage
1 cup shredded purple cabbage
2 tsps butter
1 tsp oil
2 tsps chopped garlic
1 medium onion
1 green chilli
Salt to taste
½ tsp red chilli powder
A pinch of turmeric powder
1 tsp Tata Sampann Kitchen King Masala
1 cup thick yogurt
1½ tbsps honey
1 garlic clove
2 medium potatoes, boiled and peeled
½ cup dried breadcrumbs
A pinch of roasted cumin powder
Oil for shallow frying

Method

1. Heat butter and oil in a non-stick pan; add garlic and sauté for a few seconds. Add onion, green chilli and sauté till translucent.
2. Add cabbage, red cabbage and sauté for 2 minutes. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, Tata Sampann Kitchen King Masala and cook for 2 minutes.
3. Take the pan off the heat and transfer the mixture on a plate. Allow to cool.
4. For the dip, take yogurt in a bowl. Add honey. Grate a clove of garlic, add salt and mix well. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
5. Grate the boiled potatoes in a bowl. Add the cabbage mixture, breadcrumbs, adjust the salt and add roasted cumin powder. Mix well.
6. Divide the mixture into equal portions, flatten and shape into tikkis.
7. Heat a nonstick tawa and drizzle some oil. Shallow fry the prepared tikkis till golden brown and crisp on both the sides.
8. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with the prepared dip.
