You will require the following ingredients to learn how to cook Buttermilk Rasam at home:

Curds 1/2 cup

Water as required

Salt to taste

Hing/ Asafoetida

Tur dal 1/2 tbsp

Black Pepper 1/2 tsp

Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp

Ghee/Classified Butter 1tsp

Mustard Seeds 1/2 tsp

Omam/Ajwain/Celery Seeds 1/2 tsp

Curry leaves (few)

Dried red chilli (1)
