This is a fresh, inviting, colored, tremendously yummy recipe for a 4th July party (or for any other party!!). Berries are in season, so let's play with their colors and flavors. At the farmer's market I really didn't know which one to choose, so I got a little basket of every kind: blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries!!Two tips for this easy and beautiful recipe: the lemon curd at the bottom of the tart and the homemade whipped cream.The lemon curd cream gives a delicate twist to the overall sweet flavor of the recipe and very well balances the whipped cream. It is also a nice surprise when you give the first bite!The homemade whipped cream is fluffy, creamy and light and sooooo easy to make from scratch!! It only takes 5 minutes to make.For a kids' friendly version I prepared very small tarts that could easily be handled by the tiny hands of my Luca.
