Besan Gatte Ki Sabji Healthy Easy Marwadi Gatta Curry Recipe

From Rajasthan, known as the land of Maharajas, palaces, deserts & scenic beauties, comes this ever-popular dish Gatte Ki Sabji. Gram flour roundels in a yogurt-based gravy dish is very popular and you must try it at your home. Try this out following my recipe, it is rather easy to make yet comes out really yummy. Serve it with roti of your choice or with rice.

Part 1 : DOUGH
-----)) Ingredients :

One cup besan (Gram flour)
Salt to taste
tsp turmeric powder
tsp red chilli powder
Water as required
Del Monte Olive Pomace Oil One tablespoon

-----))Method

Lets make a dough with one cup of besan, salt to taste, tea spoon of turmeric powder & half tea spoon of red chilli powder & water
Add one tablespoon of olive oil while kneading the dough
Make two equal sized cylinders from the dough for steaming
Brush the steamer with olive oil
Put the besan cylinders in the steamer & let them steam for 5 to 7 minutes
Cut the gattas into pieces as shown
Part 2 : GRAVY
-----))Ingredients

Del Monte Olive Pomace Oil 3 to 4 Tablespoon
Pinch of heeng
4/5 garlic cloves, grated
inch ginger, grated
2 green chillies, chopped
Half cup of curd
Half spoon of turmeric powder
Half spoon of coriander powder
Half spoon of cumin powder
Half spoon of red chilli powder
Salt to taste
tsp garam masala powder

-----))Method

Put 3 to 4 tablespoon of olive oil in a heated pan
Put a pinch heeng when the oil is hot
Add grated ginger & garlic
Mix well
Add chopped green chilies followed by curd
