Watch and learn how to make Achari Bhindi recipe from our chef Smita Deo on Ruchkar Mejwani.Achari Bhindi is an easy to make spicy vegetarian main course recipe where Bhindi is cooked in delicious tomato gravy and aromatic Indian spices.Ingredients:1 tbsp Oil1/2 Kg Okra (Bhendi), cut in 1 inch pieces2 tbsp Oil1 tsp Fennel Seeds1 tsp Mustard Seeds1 tsp Kalonji8-10 Fenugreek Seeds1/2 tsp Grated Ginger3 Tomatoes, grated1/2 Cup Curd1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder1 tsp Red Chilli Powder2 tsp Coriander Seeds PowderSalt to tasteMethod:- In a pan add little oil. Then add chopped bhindi and saute it for few minutes till the bhindi is cooked.- In another pan heat some oil.- Add fennel seeds, mustard seeds, kalonji, fenugreek seeds, grated ginger and grated tomatoes. Mix well.- Add curd and mix everything well.- Once the water dries out add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander seeds powder. Saute well till the gravy releases its oil.- Then add salt and stir fried bhindi.
