ABURA SOBA is another style of ramen which has no broth.

This type of ramen has an oil based sauce at the bottom of of the dish that you mix up and dress the noodles with.

There are a few famous ramen joints with hard-core followings that serve this iteration of ramen.

Finally came across this at Menya Keishi ramen shop in Costa Mesa, and had to give it a try.

Would like to see more ramen shops in OC/LA add their versions of this broth-less ramen to their menus in the future.
