Zeera biscuits recipe | Jeera biscuits recipe | Biscuit Food Recipe by Cooking with Asifa
Zeera biscuits are crispy, crunchy, lightly sweet and mildly salty flavor makes it a perfect tea time snack.
Ingredients:
All-purpose flour (375g)
Melted butter 250g
Icing sugar 250g
Egg 1
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tbsp
Recipe:
Preheat oven at 180°C(350°F).
Take a large bowl and whisk the icing sugar, egg with butter well for 5 mins.
Knead flour, cumin seeds & salt in it to form a stiff dough.
Put your dough in the fridge to rest for 30 minutes.
Knead your dough and using a roller, roll the dough to 1/4 inch thickness.
Cut out small round cookies from dough & place it in a baking tray.
Bake for 15 mins at 200°C(400°F).
Remove from oven, store in an air-tight container and serve.
