Zaatar Chilli Paratha How To Make A Chilli Paratha India Food Network

Zaatar Chilli Paratha Add a dash of #MiddleEastern flavours to spice up your regular paratha. These are the #desitwists we live for!

Ingredients:
Whole wheat flour dough + flour for dusting
Olive oil + for cooking
3 tbsp Zaatar spice blend
1 tbsp Ground sumac
1 tbsp Dried thyme
1 tbsp Marjoram
1 tsp red chilli flakes
1 tbsp oregano

Method:
1. In a bowl mix flour, salt, 1 tsp olive oil and add water as needed to
form a semi-soft dough.
2. Knead the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
3. After 10 minutes start out rolling the dough using dry flour into a thin circle.
4. Add few drops of olive oil and brush the oil all over and sprinkle with the spices (to taste).
5. Seal the paratha forming a semi circle and brush with little more
oil.
6. Sprinkle the spices in the same order again.
7. Seal and form a triangle and roll into a medium size paratha.
8. Cook the paratha using oil on all sides to make it extra crispy.
9. Serve immediately with yoghourt or by itself.
