Ingredients:-
Oil - Clarified Butter / Cooking Oil (1 cup)
Meat:
- Chicken (1 kg)
Vegetables:
- Onion (1)
- Green Chilies (3-4)
- Coriander
Spices:
- Salt
- Red Chili Flakes (1 tbsp)
- Coriander Powder ( 1 tsp)
- Cumin Seeds (1 tsp)
- Garam-Masala (0.5 tsp)
Others:
- Ginger Garlic Paste (2 tbsp)
- Tomato Paste (1 tbsp)
- Daal Masoor (0.5 cup)
- yogurt (1 cup)
- Boiled Chickpeas (0.5 kg)
- Water (0.5 ltr)
Recipe:-
- Marinate chicken with yogurt (2 tbsp) for 10-15 minutes approximately.
- In a pan add clarified butter (1 cup), fry onions till it turns golden brown & add chicken.
- Stir fry on high flame until chicken turns white & add ginger garlic paste until it turns golden.
- Add cumin seeds (1 tsp), coriander powder (1 tsp), red chili flakes (1 tbsp), salt , tomato paste (1 tbsp) & stir fry for 2-3 minutes more & add yogurt.
- Add remaining yogurt & cook till its water dries out & then add boiled chickpeas , boiled daal masoor (lentil) to cook.
- Add water (0.5 ltr) & cook for 20 minutes on a low flame.
- In the end add garam masala (0.5 tsp), coriander, green chilies (3-4).
- Mix it and cover the pan with lid and switch off the flame and set it aside for 5 minutes before serving.
