Yoghurt Dip

Creamy, luscious and tangy, the Yoghurt Dip has a very exciting flavour that combines well with a large variety of snacks ranging from tikkis to nacho chips! While the tang of the curds is heightened by the Tabasco sauce, the fresh cream helps to improve the mouth-feel and balance the flavour. Chopped herbs and greens add an exciting flavour, a pleasant crunch and a splash of colour to the dip. Keep this dip chilled till you serve as it will get watery if left outside.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes.
Cooking Time: NIL.
Makes 1 cup.

1 cup hung curds (chakka dahi)
¼ cup finely chopped spring onions
¼ cup finely chopped celery (ajmoda)
½ tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
2 tbsp fresh cream
A few drops of tabasco sauce
Salt to taste

For serving
Crackers / Wafers

Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.
Refrigerate for atleast 1 hour and serve chilled with crackers or wafers.
