Will It Sushi? - Cha Soba Noodles | Hiroyuki Terada - Diaries of a Master Sushi Chef

In this episode, Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada shows you how to make a Cha Soba Noodle Sushi Roll, something he hasn't done in over 25 years and is a new technique to many who have never seen this before.

Cha Soba is basically buckwheat noodles and are traditionally served cold and with a dipping sauce.

This dish is very easy to do, but of course you must find these noodles and use a rubber band to hold them together and then boil the noodles for about 5-6 minutes. If you're absolutely against the rubber band being inside the water while it's boiling, then just hold one end of the rubber band and boil the rest of the noodles by keeping them in the water. Use a high quality paper towel to collect as much water as possible and then add finely cut scrambles eggs, cooked shrimp and roll. This dish is so simple and easy to make, you will enjoy the taste of these simple ingredients combined together.

Leave us a comment and tell us how your roll came out, and if you used another type of noodle to make this dish. See you all in the next episode!
