Gajar ka Halwa

Ingredients for Halwa:
Carrot (shredded) 1 kg
NESTL MILKPAK Full Cream Milk 1 litre
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
Sugar 1 cup
Desi ghee 1 cup
NESTL MILKPAK Dairy Cream 1/2 cup

Ingredients for Creamy Khoya Mixture:
Ghee 2 tbsp
Khoya 1/2 kg
NESTL MILKPAK Dairy Cream 1 pack

Ingredients for Assembling:
Prepared Gajar ka Halwa as required
Prepared creamy khoya mixture as required
Pistachios (chopped) as required
Silver paper as required

Directions for Halwa Preparation:
1. In a pot add carrot and cook for 10-15 mins or until water dries out.
2. Now add NESTL MILKPAK Full Cream Milk, cardamom powder, and cook until milk evaporates.
3. Add sugar and cook for 10-15 mins. Add desi ghee and cook for 20-25 mins.
4. Turn off flame and add NESTL MILKPAK Dairy Cream. Turn on the flame and mix it well. Set aside.
Directions for Creamy Khoya Mixture Preparation:
5. In a pan heat ghee and add khoya and cook until khoya melts.
6. Add NESTL MILKPAK Dairy Cream and cook for 1-2 minutes. Set aside.
Directions for Assembling:
7. In a serving bowl add layers of gajar ka halwa and creamy khoya mixture.
8. Lastly decorate it with creamy khoya mixture on top and garnish it with pistachios and silver paper.
9. Your Gajar ka Halwa is ready. Serve and enjoy.
