Vermicelli Kheer in 2 ways • Seviyan Kheer • Vermicelli Pudding • Payasam | Amrit's Kitchen

A special Vermicelli Kheer recipe we had in Kuala lumpur, Malaysia. The taste was overwhelming, It was served in an Indian restaurant, and we all were wondering what is the white color pearls in the Seviyan Kheer dish. It was milk vermicelli (payasam) which contain some pearls and everybody else was making their own guess, some guessed cia seeds & some recognized it to be sabja (Basil seeds) we all were curious to know that what was there in the vermicelli milk pudding recipe as white pearls.

After all our guesses we had to ask the chef about it and to our surprise we came to know that the white colored pearls were Sago ( Small sabudana ).

I had enjoyed Seviyan Kheer recipe video many times, but this was different. We all liked Combination of Vermicelli & Sago fusion.
