Recipe Name- Soya Pulao with Burhani Raita

PART 1: Soya Pulao
Ingredients
One cup of soya chunks
Del Monte Olive Pomace Oil 3 Tablespoon
One bay leaf
One tsp cumin seeds
Two medium-sized onions chopped
One teaspoon of garlic paste
One teaspoon of chopped ginger
Two tomatoes, chopped
One tsp turmeric powder
One tsp coriander powder
One tsp cumin powder
One tsp red chilli powder
One cup of Basmati rice
Half a cup of green peas
Mint leaves
Coriander leaves
Water

Method-

Step 1 : Take a cup of soya chunks and soak them in water and then microwave it for one or two minutes
Step 2 : Put a pressure cooker on the stove and put 3 tablespoons of olive pomace oil
Step 3 : When the oil is hot add bay leaf and whole cumin seeds
Step 4 : When the cumin seeds crackle add chopped onions
Step 5 : Fry the onions well till light brown colour
Step 6 : Add salt to taste
Step 7 : Add garlic paste and chopped ginger and mix well
Step 8 : Add tomatoes and mix well
Step 9 : Add a teaspoon each of turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder & red chilli powder
Step 10 : Fry till oil separates from the spice mix
Step 11 : Add the microwaved soya
Step 12 : Mix the soya chunks well with the spice mix
Step 13 : Add a cup of basmati rice which is washed and soaked for 15 minutes
Step 14 : Mix well and add salt as per taste
Step 15 : Add half a cup of green peas
Step 16 : Add a few mint and coriander leaves, chopped
Step 17 : Put 2 cups water and cook for 2 whistles
Step 18 : Soya pulao is ready. Garnish with mint & coriander leaves

PART 2 : Burhani Raita
-----)) Ingredients
One cup of curd, beaten
One tablespoon pomace olive oil
2 Cloves garlic, chopped
One tsp red chilli powder
Salt

-----)) Method
Step 1 : Take one tablespoon of pomace olive oil
Step 2 : When the oil is hot add the chopped garlic
Step 3 : Add a teaspoon of red chilli powder to the tadka after switching off the stove
Step 4 : Add the tadka in the curd and a pinch of salt and mix well.
