Dont you love it when you make your favourite Pizza right from the dough, then the sauce, all for much lower than what you would have shelled out at a pizzeria or caf? Try this recipe to make a restaurant-style pizza.VEG PIZZAIngredientsDough2 cups refined flour (maida) + for dusting1 tsp salt2 tsps dried yeast1 tsp sugar2 tbsps oil + for greasingSauce4 medium tomatoes1 tbsp oil1 tbsp chopped garlic1 medium onion, choppedSalt to tasteBlack pepper powder to taste tsp red chilli powder tsp red chilli flakes1 tbsps tomato ketchup5-6 fresh basil leaves + for garnishTopping100 grams grated mixed cheese Onion rings as requiredTomato slices as requiredBoiled corn kernels to sprinkleSliced green capsicum as required100 grams cottage cheese, cut into small piecesSalt to tasteRed chilli flakes to sprinkleMethod1. Take refined flour in a bowl. Add salt and mix well.2. Take dried yeast in a bowl. Add sugar, 2 tbsps warm water and set aside for 5 minutes.3. Add yeast mixture to the refined flour, 1 tbsp oil, 1 cup water and knead to soft dough. Add remaining oil and knead again.4. Cover with a moist muslin cloth and set aside for 40-45 minutes.5. For sauce, roughly chop the tomatoes and transfer in a grinder jar and grind to coarse paste.6. Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Add garlic and saut for 30 seconds.7. Add onion and saut till translucent. Add tomato puree, salt, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, red chilli flakes and mix well.8. Once the mixture comes to a boil, cover and cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes.9. Add tomato ketchup and cook for 1-2 minutes.10. Tear basil leaves roughly and add to the pan. Take the pan off the heat and allow to cool.11. Knock back the dough and knead again, Divide the dough into 2 equal portions, dust some refined flour on the surface and roll into thin disks. Prick 1 roundel with the help of fork.12. Heat a nonstick tawa. Place the rolled disk and cook on medium heat for 5-6 minutes.13. Flip and spread pizza sauce on top and sprinkle half the cheese on top.14. Arrange onion rings, tomato slices on top. Sprinkle corn kernels and arrange capsicum and cottage cheese pieces on top.15. Sprinkle salt and red chilli flakes on top.16. Cover and cook on low heat for 8-10 minutes.17. Preheat the oven to 200C.18. Transfer the other disk on a baking tray and similarly make other pizza.19. Bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.20.
