Mrs. Alyona Kapoor shares her secret recipe of how to make Vegetable Bhakarwadi at home.VEGETABLE BHAKARWADIIngredients1 cup refined flour1 tablespoon semolina ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder2 tablespoons oil + for deep fryingSalt to taste100 grams French beans, chopped roughly and boiled100 grams green peas, boiled½ cup scraped coconut3 potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed2 teaspoons ginger-green chilli paste1 teaspoon garam masala powder½ cup chopped fresh corianderMethod 1. Knead the refined flour with semolina, pepper powder, two tablespoons oil, salt and sufficient water to semi soft dough. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside.2. For the stuffing - Mix together french beans, green peas ,fresh coconut, potatoes, salt, ginger-green chilli paste, garam masala powder, fresh coriander, mix well and mashed it.3. Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll out into thin chapattis.4. Spread the vegetable mixture evenly on chapattis. Roll them tightly into cylinders and cut the cylinders into half inch slices. 5. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry the bhakarwadis, on medium heat, till golden and crisp.6.
