We'll give you a behind-the-scenes look at our best shows, take you inside our favorite restaurant and be your resource in the kitchen to make sure every meal is a 10/10!Steakhouse Shrimp Cocktail with Sister SaucesRECIPE COURTESY OF VALERIE BERTINELLILevel: EasyTotal: 25 minActive: 20 minYield: 4 to 6 servingsIngredientsShrimp Cocktail:1 lemon, sliced in half1 pound large (10/15 per pound) shrimp, peeled and deveined1/4 cup fresh parsley sprigs 2 cloves garlic, smashed Kosher salt 10 whole black peppercorns Crushed iceSpicy Cocktail Sauce (see recipe below)Lemon-Basil Cocktail Sauce (see recipe below)Spicy Cocktail Sauce:3/4 cup ketchup1 tablespoon chipotle in adobo sauce 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice Lemon-Basil Cocktail Sauce:1/2 cup sour cream1/2 cup mayonnaise 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil 2 tablespoons lemon zest Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper DirectionsPoach the shrimp: Add 6 cups of water to a medium-sized saucepan. Squeeze the lemon juice into the saucepan and then add in the lemon halves as well. Add the parsley sprigs, garlic, 1 teaspoon salt and peppercorns and bring to a simmer. Once the water is simmering, add the shrimp and cook until just opaque, 3 to 4 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the poaching liquid and chill completely.To serve: Cover a platter with crushed ice and arrange the shrimp on top.
