We have all grown up eating khicidi. It's one of the few dishes that can be cooked instantly. So, how about giving a little twist to this delicious traditional preparation?

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp Oil
2-3 Cinnamon Sticks
2-3 Cloves
2-3 Cardamom
1 no. Bayleaf
1 Medium Sized Onion, Sliced
2 Cups Long Grained Rice, Soaked
3 Cups Water
3/4 Cup Mixed Sprouts, Boiled
Coriander Leaves

Procedure:
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Add cinnamon and cloves to it.
3. Add 2-3 Cardamom
4. Add bay leaf to it.
5. Add sliced onions and cook until brown.
6. Add rice
7. Add water
8. Stir occasionally
9. Saute spice mixture in oil
10. Add salt
11. Add boiled mixed sprouts
12. Give one boil
13. Add the mixture to the rice
14. Garnish with coriander
15. Serve hot
