TULSI PANEER TIKKA

Ingredients

400 grams cottage cheese (paneer)
¼ cup holy basil (tulsi) leaves
½ cup basil leaves
3-4 garlic cloves
2-3 green chillies
2 tsps lemon juice
Salt to taste
½ cup thick yogurt
1 tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder
2 tbsps roasted gram flour
1 medium yellow capsicum, seeded and cut into 1 inch pieces
1 medium red capsicum, seeded and cut into 1 inch pieces
Yogurt-garlic dip for serving
Onion rings for serving
Lemon wedge for serving
Mint sprig for serving

Method

1. Transfer holy basil leaves, basil leaves, garlic, green chillies, lemon juice and salt in a blender jar. Add ¼ cup water and grind to fine paste.
2. Cut cottage cheese into 1 inch cubes.
3. Transfer yogurt in a bowl. Add the ground paste, olive oil, Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder, roasted gram flour and whisk well.
4. Add cottage cheese cubes, yellow capsicum, red capsicum and mix lightly. Set aside to marinate for 30 minutes.
5. Thread alternate layers of capsicum and cottage cheese on wooden skewers.
6. Heat oil in a nonstick grill pan. Place the prepared skewers and grill on 2 minutes on each side on medium heat.
7. Serve hot with yogurt-garlic dip, onions rings, lemon wedge and mint sprig.
