We eat bean stew and ribs and boiled beef at a local spot in the suburbs which features a changing daily lunch menu and then take you to the most popular shop in town for burek. Burek although of Turkish origin is a really popular snack here in Croatia (it harks back to the Ottoman times which explains why you will see this dish in most countries in this region). Lastly we take you for a traditional Croatian lunch of Slavonian Čobanac (Shepherd's stew from the Slavonia region) and Zagrebački odrezak (Croatian cordon bleu).
