TOMATO RICE | EASY RICE RECIPE FOR LUNCH | SOYA TOMATO RICE | Indian Mom's Kitchen

If you are looking for a healthy and quick rice recipe for lunch, then Tomato Rice would be a good choice. I have used soaked soya chunks in this recipe. Instead of soya chunks, you may use mushrooms, green peas, potatoes or any thing of your choice. Everyone at home will surely enjoy this tasty yet simple rice recipe.

Ingredients in the order of instructions:
3 Green Chillies
3 Tomatoes
2 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Ghee (optional)
2 Cinnamon sticks
3 Cloves
2 Cardamoms
1 tsp Cumin
2 Onions
Salt to taste
1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Garam masala
1 cup soaked Soya chunks
1 cup soaked Rice
1&1/2 cups Water
A handful of Coriander leaves
