Tiranga sheera

Ingredients Quantity

Water 1lt
Sugar 1 1⁄2cup
Carrot 1⁄2 piece
Milk 1⁄2cup+1⁄2cup
Ghee 1 cup + for greasing
Suji 1 cup
Elachi powder 1tsp
Almonds 1⁄2 tbsp + for garnish
Palak puree 1⁄2 cup
Pistachio powder 2 Tbsp + for garnish
Chopped pista 1 tbsp

Method

1. Take a khadai and fill it with 1 liter of water and 1 1⁄2 cup of sugar.
2. Now take a small carrot and cut into cubes and make puree of the same by adding some water.
3. Now add little milk in the sugar syrup to make the sugar syrup clean.
4. Now take another pan and add ghee and suji in equal quantity and roast it for almost 10 to 12
mins on medium flame, the color of the suji should be the same
5. Stir continuously on low to medium flame, otherwise it would turn in brown color.
6. Now remove the white foam from above of the sugar syrup and divide it into 3 parts.
7. Now take a bowl and add carrot puree and the sugar syrup and give it a nice mix.
8. Now take a bowl and remove the suji in it and keep 2/3 part of roasted suji in the pan and add
half sugar syrup and little milk in it and cook till it gets thick.
9. Now add elachi powder and remove it in a bowl.
10. Now in the same pan take 2/3 roasted suji and add carrot puree and let it cook till it gets thick
11. Now add chopped almonds, elachi powder and remove it in a bowl.
12. Now add the palak puree in the remaining sugar syrup and pistachio powder and mix it.
13. Now in the same pan add the remaining suji and add the sugar syrup and elachi powder in it and
mix properly.
14. Now after it gets thickens add chopped pista and remove it in a bowl.
15. All the colored sheera are ready to eat .
16. Serve hot.
