Vegetables - as shown in video
Toor Dhal - 1/2 cup (100 gms approx.)
Onion big - 2 or 12 shallots
Tomato - 2 medium
Green chilly - 1
Tamarind - 1/2 small lemon sized
Powdered jaggery - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 + /4 tsp

For sambar powder:
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Coriander seeds - 2 tsp
Chana dhal - 2 tsp
Rice - 1/2 tsp
Dry Red Chillies - 4 to 5
Oil - 1 tsp

For seasoning:
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek - 1/8 tsp
Dry red chilly - 1
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Kala jeera - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp + 1 tsp ghee
