As the name suggests, this recipe works great for carrying it in a tiffin box. Simple and absolutely delicious.TIFFIN PULAOIngredients 1½ cups Daawat Pulav Basmati Rice 2 tbsps oil1 tsp mustard seeds1 tsp cumin seeds2-3 green chillies, chopped¼ cup raw peanuts1 medium carrot, cut into small cubes1 medium potato, cut into small cubes¼ tsp turmeric powder¼ tsp red chilli powderSalt to taste¼ cup green peasChopped fresh coriander leaves for garnishKachumber to serveRoasted papads to serveMethod 1. Wash Daawat Pulav Basmati Rice with sufficient water for 2-3 times. Add fresh water, soak for 20-30 minutes and drain.2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add green chillies, raw peanuts, carrot and potato and sauté for 2-3 minutes.3. Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix well. Cook for 1 minute.4. Add soaked rice, salt, and green peas and mix. Add 3 cups water, mix, cover and cook under pressure till 2 whistles. 5. Switch the heat off, open the cooker once the pressure reduces completely and transfer the rice into a serving plate.6.
