Thattukada Evening Snacks | Tea time Snacks | Indian Mom's Kitchen

Dal Vada, Sweet Bonda and Sugiyan along with a cup of piping hot ginger tea relished by all of us in Thattukadas can easily be prepared at home. In this video, I have shown how to make Thattukada evening snacks in your very own kitchen. SO WHY WAIT? GO FOR IT.

Sweet Bonda:
1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
2 small Bananas
1 cup Wheat flour
1/2 cup Rice flour
A little Salt
1 cup Jaggery syrup
Water as required
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
Oil for deep frying

Mixed Dal Vada:
3/4 cup Chana Dal
1/4 cup Urad Dal
1/4 cup Moong Dal
1/4 cup Tuvar Dal
1-inch piece Ginger
2 Green Chillies
Few Curry leaves
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Black Pepper powder
1 tsp Red Chilli flakes
A handful of Coriander leaves
Oil for deep frying

Sugiyan/Sukhiyan:

1 cup whole Moong
1 cup water
1/2 cup grated Coconut
A little Salt
1 cup grated Jaggery
1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
1 cup Maida
1/2 cup Rice flour
A little Salt
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
Water as required
Oil for deep frying
