Tawa Kaleji # Ramzan Recipes | Chefharpalsinghsokhi | chefharpalsingh

This Goat liver fry/Kaleji Masala is a great dish and all times, specially available Ramadan period around Mohammad Ali Road in MUmbai, go ahead and enjoy this great dish.

Ingredients:
Goat liver - 100 gms
Onion chopped - 1 nos
Tomatoes chopped - 2 nos
Garlic chopped - 1 tbsp
Ginger chopped - 1 tbsp
Green chilli chopped - 2-3 nos
Fresh coriander chopped - 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder -1 1/2 tbsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Water - 1/2 cup
Juice - of 1/2 lemon
Salt - to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Green chutney - as required
Pav - 2 nos

Method:
Heat oil in a kadai, add cumin seeds,chopped garlic,chopped ginger, chopped onion,saute onions till it is brown this should take about 3-4 minutes
2) After onions are nicely brown, add green chillies chopped tomatoes and wait till the tomatoes are completely mashed
3) Now add salt, coriander powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder
garam masala powder and turmeric, and allow it to cook nicely
4) meanwhile wash the goat liver which you had kept for some time with salt and turmeric in it to remove the foul smell
5) Now add the washed goat liver, now add some water and cook it for 6-8 minutes or till its dry finely add lemon juice and chopped coriander and its done, serve hot with pav and green chutney
