This naan with a fabulous cheesy filling is easy, fuss-free and an absoluite treat to the taste buds.TAWA CHEESE NAANIngredients2 cups refined flour + for dusting½ cup grated mozzarella cheeseSalt to taste1 tsp baking soda1 tsp baking powder1 tsp sugar1/3 cup yogurt2 tsps oil¾ cup lukewarm milk2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander1 tbsp chopped fresh mint2 tbsps chopped garlic½ tsp Tata Sampann Chilli Powder + to sprinkleButter as requiredGravy for servingMethod1. Take refined flour in a bowl. Add salt, baking soda, baking powder, sugar, yogurt and oil and mix well.2. Add milk and knead to soft dough. Cover with a moist muslin cloth and set aside for 30 minutes.3. For the stuffing, take mozzarella cheese in a bowl. Add coriander leaves, mint leaves, chopped garlic, a pinch of salt and Tata Sampann Chilli Powder and mix well.4. Divide the dough into equal portion and roll into balls. Dust some refined flour on the surface and roll into thick disk.5. Place a portion of the stuffing in the centre of the disk. Bring the edges together and seal.6. Dust some more flour and roll into a semi thick disk. Apply little water on the surface and spread some prepared cheese mixture on top.7. Sprinkle some onion seeds and press well. 8. Heat an iron tawa, apply some water on underside of the disk and place on tawa. 9. Turn the tawa upside down and roast on medium heat till golden brown specs appear on the surface.10. Take the naan of the heat and smear some butter on top. Sprinkle Tata Sampann chilli powder and serve hot with gravy of your choice.
