Tasty Zarda Rice Recipe (Special Eid Rice Recipe )

Ingredients:-

Oil:
- Desi Ghee/ Clarified Butter (half cup)

Rice:
- Sela Rice (500 g)

Spices:
- Cloves (5)
- Cinnamon Stick (1)
- Green Cardamom (5)

Dry Fruits:
- Raisin(as you like)
- Almonds (as you like)
- Walnuts (as you like)
- Pistachio (as you like)
- Dried Coconuts (as you like)

Others:
- Khoya (as you like)
- Food Colour (1 tsp)
- Kewra Water (1 tsp)
- Milk (100 ml) / Yogurt (2 tbsp)

Recipe:-
- Boil water in a pan with food colour & add rice in it.
(NOTE: Sela Rice should be soaked in water for an hour)
- Cook rice almost like 80% and 20% should be uncooked.
- Drain the water when rice is cooked.
- Add ghee,cinamon stick, green cardamom & cloves in pan,
- Roast almonds,coconut,walnuts,raisins,pistachio for 2-3 mins.
- Add sugar & milk in it and cook for few minutes until water dries out.
- Add khoya and give dam(steam cook on low flame) for 15 minutes.
- Dish out zarda rice & garnish with dried nuts.
