Roughly chop tomatoes.2. Heat a deep pan. Add tomatoes, 1½ cups water, dates, jaggery, roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder and black salt and mix well. Let it come to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes. 3. Switch the heat off and blend the mixture using an electric hand blender. 4. Add ½ cup water and place the pan back on heat. Cook till the mixture comes to a boil.5. Allow the chutney to cool completely.6.
