Ingredients:
Barley 1/2 cup
Milk 6 cups (1.5 liters)
Dates 6-8 (for paste)
Milk 4 tbsp (for paste)
Honey 2 tbsp or to taste
Pistachios as required
Almonds as required
Raisins as required
Coconut as required

Directions:
1. In a bowl add barley; wash and soak it for at least 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
2. Take dates and dessed them. Add them in a grinder long with milk and make a thick paste.
3. Then in a pan add milk and bring it to boil. Add socked barley and cook for 20 to 25 minutes until barley fully gets tender on low flame.
4. Then blend the mixture to make it more smooth in consistency.
5. Add date paste, honey in milk and cook on medium flame until thickens.
6. Lastly add pistachios, almonds, raisins, coconut and mix it well. Talbina is ready. Let it cool down before serving.
7. Garnish with some more dry fruits and serve.
Note: you can use any dry fruit you like.

Cooking time: 40-45 minutes
