Tadka Maa Di dal or Tadke wali Kaali dal is a popular north Indian dish boiled cooked and tempered with some aromatic spices.

Ingredients:
Whole urad daal 200 g
Butter 1 tb
Cumin seeds 1 ts
Red chilly 3 n
Ginger juliennes 1 inch piece
Garlic chopped 4 n
Green chilly chopped 3 n
Onions 1 n
Chilly powder 1 ts
Tomatoes 1 n
Garam masala powder 1 ts
Coriander chopped 1 b
Salt

Directions:
Take whole urad daal boiled in a pressure cooker until daal is tender.
Heat butter in a pan add cumin seeds, red chilly, ginger garlic juliennes, chopped green chilly, onions, sauté it and add chilly powder, tomatoes, garam masala powder, add boiled daal, salt, once come to boil add chopped coriander and switch off the flame.
Serve this with chapatti, naan, jeera rice.
