Sweet Bun Recipe | Bakery Style Super Soft Bun | Tutti Frutti Bread | Eggless Sweet Buns | Milk Buns

Ingredients for Sweet Buns

Refined flour (maida) - 1½ cups
Dry yeast 1 tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Sugar - 4 tbsp
Butter or oil - 2 tbsp
Tutti fruity ¾ cup
Milk wash as required

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a baking tray with oil

Step 2

Combine refined flour, salt, Sugar, and activated yeast in a bowl. Add sufficient water and milk and knead into soft dough.

Step 3

Add butter and tutti fruity and knead once again. Cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside for 1 hour

Step 4

Divide dough into equal portions and shape them into buns. Place buns on greased tray and sprinkle some more tutti fruity on top. Cover again with a damp muslin cloth and set aside to prove for 20 - 25 minutes.

Step 5

Apply milk wash on the buns and place tray in preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes at 180°

Step 6
Remove from heat, cool and serve.
