Dahi Bhallay

Ingredients for Bhalla:
Skinless black lentils (daal mash) 1 cup
Mung Daal (soaked) 1 cup
Salt 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp.
Green chilies (sliced) 1-2
Water 1 cup
Water as required
Oil (for frying) as required

Ingredients for Yogurt Mixture:
NESTL MILKPAK yogurt 2 cup
NESTL MILKPAK Full Cream Milk 1/2 cup
Powdered Sugar 3 tbsp.

Ingredients for Dahi Bhallay Assembling:
Soaked Bhallay as required
Yogurt Mixture as required
Imli chutney as required
Chaat masala as required
Green Coriander as required
Sev as required

Directions for Bhalla Preparation:
1. In a chopper add soaked lentils, salt, black pepper powder, red chili powder, green chilies, and water and blend well. Blend until you reach your desired consistency of mixture and then set aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan and pour the prepared Bhalla mixture with the help of a spoon. Fry it on medium low flame until light golden in color. Set aside.
3. Now dip the prepared bhallay into water and let it soak for 15-20 minutes. Now squeeze the water out from bhallay. Set aside.

Directions for Yogurt Mixture Preparation:
4. In a bowl add NESTL MILKPAK yogurt, NESTL MILKPAK Full Cream milk, sugar and whisk well. Your yogurt mixture is ready.

Directions for Dahi Bhalla platting:
5. Place the bhallay in serving dish. Drizzle yogurt mixture, imli chutney, chaat masala, Sev, coriander on top. Your Creamy Dahi Bhallay are ready to serve.
