Sticky Toffee Pudding - Ananya with FBAI - Christmas Special I स्टिकी टॉफ़ी पुडिंग रेसिपी

Christmas time is here, and if you still haven't made your Xmas pudding, watch an easy, delicious and fun Sticky Toffee Pudding recipe!

Ingredients

For Pudding:
• Butter – 40 g
• Brown Sugar – ¾ cup
• Eggs – 2
• Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
• Cinnamon Powder – 2-3 pinches
• Baking Powder – 2 Tsp
• Flour – 1 cup
• Dates – 1 cup
• 2 tbsp Rum

For Toffee Sauce:
• 1 cup Brown sugar
• 1 cup Butter
• ½ cup Cream
• 2 tbsp Brandy
• 2/3 cup Water


Method:
Date Puree
1. Take the dates and soak them in half cup water
2. Boil the dates and grind it to make a puree

Pudding
1. In a bowl, add butter and brown sugar and whisk it together.
2. Add one egg, whisk the mixture further then add the second egg and whisk it again
3. Scrape the sides of the bowl. Keep whisking until the sugar, is mixed completely and the butter has melted. It will take about 5 min. The color and texture will both change
4. Add the vanilla essence. Add the date puree to this mixture and blend it together
5. Add the baking powder and flour, add cinnamon powder mix it well
6. Use the Cut and fold method to mix the ingredients, until it reaches a fluffy texture. This will be the dough for the cake
7. Pour the prepared batter into the cake mold. Spread it evenly to fill up all the air pockets
8. In a preheated oven bake it for 20-25 minutes at 180 degree
