Steamed Chicken Gola Kabab

Ingredients for Chicken Mixture:
Chicken mince 500 g
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Green coriander (chopped) 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp.
Green chilies (chopped) 3-4
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Coriander powder 2 tbsp
Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Water (for boiling) as required
Oil (for cooking) 2-3 tbsp
Heated coal pieces (for smoke) 1-2
Oil (for smoke) 1 tsp

Directions for Chicken Mixture Preparation:
1. In a chopper add chicken mince, onion, green coriander, ginger garlic paste, green chilies, red chili powder, cumin powder, red chili flakes, salt, coriander powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice and chop them well.
2. Now take hand full of chicken mixture and tread it on wooden skewer in gola kabab shape.
3. Wrap them in aluminum foil. Boil water in a pot and place wrapped gola kabab. Boil them for 10-12 mins making sure water does not enter aluminum foil.
4. Now take them out of the pot and let them cool at room temperature.
5. Remove the gola kabab from aluminum foil and skewers.
Note: Can be frozen for up to 1 month
6. In pan heat oil and add steamed gola kabab. Fry them for 1-2 mins.
7. Turn off flame and place heated coal pieces in aluminum cup. Drizzle oil and cover with lid. Smoke for 1-2 mins.
8. Your Steamed Chicken Gola Kabab is ready.
Preparation Time: 10-15 mins
Cooking Time: 25-30 mins
