Soutzoukakia - Traditional greek meatballs with cumin in tomato sauce Greek Cooking by Katerina

This is a classic greek recipe, a delicious meal, soutzoukakia in tomato sauce. Yummy fluffy meatballs in red sauce, a dish everyone will enjoy!

Ingredients for the soutzoukakia: 1/2kg ground beef, 1 grated onion, 2 cloves of garlic crushed, 3 slices yesterday's bread (soaked and drained) or 3 spoonfuls of breadcrumbs, 2 teaspoons ground cumin, salt and pepper, 1 spoon chopped parsley (optional), 1 egg, 1 spoon extra virgin greek olive oil.
For the tomato sauce: 3 spoons extra virgin olive oil, 1 grated or chopped onion, 1 clove garlic crushed, 350ml tomato pure, 1 teaspoon ground cumin, salt and pepper, 200ml of water.
