Soft Idiyappam Recipe in just 10 minutes | Easy Idiyappam Recipe | Idiyappam Recipe with Curry | Ananya Banerjee

Idiyappam is an authentic and traditional south Indian noodles recipe made with rice flour in a traditional steam cooker. it basically hails from the Kerala cuisine of south India, but is hugely popular across India and is mainly served for morning breakfast.

Ingredients:-
1.5 cup Water
Add salt to taste
2 tsp Oil
1 cup Rice Flour (mildly roasted)
For Stew -
Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai)
Few Curry Leaves
A bowl of boiled vegetables (Carrot, Beans, Potato & Onion)
1 cup Coconut Milk
1 tsp Lemon Juice

Method:-
In a pan heat 1.5 cup Water
Add salt to taste & 2 tbs Oil
Bring it to a boil and add 1 cup Rice Flour (mildly roasted)
Combine well with a spatula
Cover with a lid for 2-3 minutes
Let's make a Quickest Stew serve with Idiyappam
In a pan heat oil, add 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai)
When it crackles, add a few Curry Leaves
Then add some boiled vegetables (Carrot, Beans, Potato & Onion)
Add 1 cup Coconut Milk
Add 1 tsp Lemon Juice (Imli/Kokam is optional)
Mix everything well and your Stew is ready
Further a small portion of cooked flour
Fill into Idiyappam Maker / Chakli Maker
Press on Idiyappam steamer plate
Pour some water into the steamer
Keep all plates in Idiyappam steamer
Steam for 3-4 minutes
Serve this Delicious Idiyappam with Vegetable Stew.
