Soft & Fluffy Biscuits Recipe

Hot, buttery, soft and pillowy. I highly recommend serving these fresh with butter, jams/jellies, or honey!

Ingredients:
2 c bread flour
1 tb + 1 ts baking powder
1 ts baking soda
1 ts fine salt
1 ts sugar
12 tb frozen, shredded butter
12 tb whole buttermilk
Melted butter for brushing
Flour for dusting

Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the flour, powder, soda, salt, and sugar.
Add the frozen butter and buttermilk. Mix to combine. Do not over work.
Scoot out onto a lightly floured surface and quickly bring together with your hands. Gather the dough into a thick, flattened disc.
Roll out the dough to about 1-2 thick.
Cut out circles. If you have the time/patience, pop these circles into the fridge for 15-20 minutes.
Bake with the sides touching each other in a 450 oven for 16-19 minutes.
Brush with melted butter.
