A superb sandwich stuffed with shawarma, served hot with French fries and ketchup!SHAWARMA SANDWICHIngredients3 boneless chicken breasts8 white bread slicesSalt to taste1 tsp paprikaCrushed black peppercorns to taste1 tsp cumin powder1 tsp onion powder1 tsp all spice powder2 tsps garlic paste3-4 tbsps yogurt2 tbsps oil2 tsps butter1 small carrot, cut into thin strips100 grams cabbage, shredded½ cup aioliButter for applyingRed chilli-garlic sauce for applyingFrench fries to serveSalad to serveMethod1. Take chicken breasts in a bowl. Add salt, paprika, crushed black peppercorns, cumin powder, onion powder, all spice powder, garlic paste and yogurt and rub well to coat the mixture on all sides of the chicken breasts. Set aside to marinate for 25-30 minutes. 2. Heat oil and butter in a non-stick grill pan.3. Place the chicken breasts on it and grill on high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side. Reduce the heat to low and continue to cook for 8-10 minutes or till the chicken is cooked completely. 4. Thinly slice the chicken breasts and further chop it into small pieces. 5. To make the stuffing, transfer the chicken pieces into a large bowl, add carrot, cabbage and aioli, and mix well. 6. Apply butter on both sides of the bread slices. Spread the red chilli-garlic sauce on one side 4 bread slices. Place a portion of the stuffing on them and cover with the remaining white bread slices.7. Heat a non-stick griller. Place the sandwiches on it and grill for 4-5 minutes or till grill marks appear on both sides. 8. Cut the sandwiches into four pieces and serve hot with French fries and salad.
