This dish is made in India during winters as that is when you get fresh turnips and fresh peas. The turnips absorb the flavor of the spices while simmering. In turn, each bite of turnip turns out succulent and full of bursting flavors. The overpowering spices are kept at bay instead a dash of Garam Masala is enough to spike up the flavor of the dish.Shalgam Matar Ki Sabzi RecipeIngredients QuantityTunip 4 noGhee 2 tbsp Asafetida ¼ tsp Dry red chilli 3 nocumin seeds 1½ tsp ginger chopped 1 tbsp garlic chopped 1 tbsp green chilli chopped 3-4 no salt to taste turmeric powder ½ tsp dry mango powder 1½ tsp green peas 1 cup garam masala powder 1 tsp green peas 1 cup Method Peel the turnip and cut into cube size.
