Ingredients:
For Shevai
3 cups Rice, soaked
1 cup Coconut, grated
1/2 cup Waer
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
Salt to taste
Banana Leaf

For Roas
1 ltr Coconut Milk
1/2 cup Jaggery
A pinch of Cardamom powder

Method of preparation:
Grind the soaked rice, grated coconut with water into a fine paste.
Transfer the paste into a vessel, add water, oil, salt and cook it on low flame till it comes together and forms a lump.
Line a steaming container with banana leaf.
Apply some oil on your palm, take a portion of the mixture and a cylindrical shape.
Place them on the banana leaf and steam it for 15 minutes.
Take one of the steamed piece and put it inside the chakli maker and twist it to get the shevai out.

For Roas
Add jaggery, a pinch of cardamom powder into the coconut milk, mix it till the jaggery dissolves.

Serve the shevai with coconut milk.
