Sevai Kheer - सेवई खीर | Meethi Seviyan Ki Recipe In Gujarati | Vermicelli Kheer/Pudding | India Food Network

Sevai Kheer (सेवई खीर) prepared in milk is the perfect Indian dessert after a hearty meal. Learn how to make tasty vermicelli pudding at home this festive season.

Ingredients:
1 cup Vermicelli
5 cups Milk
½ tsp. Vanilla Custard powder
½ cup Sugar
Cashew Nuts, Almonds and Cardamom powder for garnishing

Method:

1. Roast the vermicelli in a pan for a few seconds.
2. Pour 4 cups of milk in the pan.
3. Add the custard powder to the fifth cup of milk and stir.
4. Pour this milk into the pan and let the contents cook for 2 minutes.
5. Then add the sugar and stir well, until the sugar mixes well and contents gain the consistency of porridge.
6. Garnish with cashew nuts, chopped almonds, and cardamom powder.

Serving Tips:

Serve hot or cold depending on the weather or season.
You can add your favourite fruits sliced.
Try your favourite custard powder flavor instead of plain vanilla!
