Schezwan Tempura Skillet

Ingredients for red chili paste:
Kashmiri Dry red chilies 1 cup
Water 1 cup

Ingredients for Schezwan Tempura Skillet:
Garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Onion (chopped) 1/2 cup
Red chili paste 1 cup
Ketchup 1/2 cup
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Brown sugar 1 tbsp
Green capsicum (cubes) 1 cup
Red capsicum (cubes) 1 cup
K&Ns Chicken Tempura 660 g (10-12 or as required)
Mozzarella cheese (shredded) 1 cup
Jalapenos (sliced) for garnishing
Oregano for garnishing
Red chili flakes for garnishing
Parsley (chopped) for garnishing

Directions for Red chili paste preparation:
1. In a pan heat water and add dry red chilies. Boil until the water reduces to half in quantity and chilies get soft.
2. Transfer the boiled chilies into a blender and blend until smooth paste has formed. Set aside.
Directions for Schezwan Sauce Preparation:
3. In a skillet heat oil and garlic, cook for a minute. Add onion and cook until translucent.
4. Now add red chili paste and simmer over low flame for a minute. Add ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar and cook for 1-2 minutes.
5. Add red and green capsicum and cook for a minute.
6. Fry K&Ns Chicken Tempura as per instructions on the pack.
7. Transfer prepared K&Ns Chicken Tempura into a skillet. Mix it well to coat it in Schezwan Sauce.
8. Take the skillet off the flame. Add a layer of mozzarella cheese over it.
9. Garnish it with jalapenos, oregano, red chili flakes, parsley and serve.
10. Your Schezwan Tempura Skillet is ready.
